Common Grace: The Noahic Covenant
As I continue in my series on God’s common grace, I focus specifically on the inception of God’s common grace in this episode, which is the Noahic Covenant. As common grace is God’s general and temporal favor towards humanity which restrains man’s sinful nature, the Noahic covenant serves to provide the necessary means to give stability to human beings moving forward in human history. Of incredibly importance in the Noahic Covenant is God’s institution of government and capital punishment, both of which restrain sin in unbelievers.
