Marvin P. Dorsey

Marvin Dorsey was born in 1970 and raised in the north Louisiana village of Forest Hill. After graduating Rapides High School in 1988, he went on to attend Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA.  It was during this time that he was converted to Christ and  later entered the preaching ministry in 1992.  He graduated college in December of 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree and went on to attend New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where his studies lead to receiving a Master of Divinity in May 1999.

It was after graduating seminary that Marvin came to Georgia to serve on staff at First Baptist Church Woodstock in Woodstock, GA.  In 2003, Marvin left that staff position and  joined Ambassadors For Christ International-USA. He has served in churches in both Louisiana and Georgia in both pastor and staff  ministry positions. He is currently in a “tent-making” job with the Cherokee County School District and also serves as a ministry associate with Ambassadors For Christ International-USA.
